Overview

CDP requests states and regions to disclose their environmental impacts and create a sustainable economy that avoids dangerous climate change. Encouraging states and regions to disclose their environmental information through CDP’s states and regions information request provides the foundation to achieve this mission.

Please respond to the information request using CDP’s Online Response System (ORS), accessed via CDP’s website. You will receive instructions via email on how to access the platform once it opens. This document shows all the questions that states and regions will encounter in the information request.

We invite you to reply to the following questions. The deadline for responses is the 25th July 2018.

The following sources of support are available to guide you in responding to the information request:

  • 2018 Guidance Document: This document provides a high-level overview of each section as well as further information and guidance on each question. The guidance also provides examples of good responses for selected questions.
  • In-ORS Guidance: Within the ORS, there will be three levels of help and guidance to explain the questions included in the 2018 information request:
  1. Brief help text is provided below each question. This text will give you guidance on the intent of the question and how to respond.
  2. Clicking on the help icon above each question will show a pop-up window with additional guidance information.
  3. More detailed guidance can be found by clicking the expandable link below each question.
  • Contact us: If you are unable to respond through the ORS, require help accessing the ORS or have any general inquiries, please contact [email protected].

Please answer the questions comprehensively while also assessing the relevance of the information you provide. Where you do not have all of the information requested, please respond with what you have as this is more valuable than no response.
