CDP Climate Change 2018 Scoring Methodology

(C6.10) Describe your gross global combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions for the reporting year in metric tons CO2e per unit currency total revenue and provide any additional intensity metrics that are appropriate to your business operations.

Disclosure scoring criteria

Points awarded per column complete:

- "Intensity figure" - 1 point
- "Metric numerator (Gross global combined Scope 1 and 2 emissions)" - 1 point
- "Metric denominator" - 1 point;
- "Metric denominator: Unit total" - 1 point;
- "Scope 2 figure used" - 1 point;
- "% change from previous year" - 1 point;
- "Direction of change" - 1 point;
- "Reason for change" - 1 point

Awareness scoring criteria


Must have completed both the "Intensity figure" column and "Scope 2 figure used" column to be eligible for Awareness points.

i) If:

- All columns complete - 1 point;
- Only columns "% change from previous year" and "Direction of change from previous year" complete - 0.5 points.

ii) If:

- "Decreased" is selected in "Direction of change " and a numerical vlaue greater than "0" is proivided in "% change from previous year" 1 point

Management scoring criteria

Full Awareness points must be awarded to be eligible for Management points.

- "Reason for change" has to describe an Emission reduction activity - 1 point

Leadership scoring criteria

This question is not scored for Leadership
